Who Are We?

Consumers today have many choices in every product category. Wood bats are no different. Our company has its roots in the history of two famous brands. In the 1970's and 80's we were the distributors of Rawlings baseball products in Canada. In the 90's we acquired the rights to the Cooper brand and introduced the first Canadian made ash bat to Major League Baseball. At the peak of our success Cooper was the number two bat at the MLB level supplying more than one-hundred and fifty players. At the minor league level we were clearly number one for several years. We only sell the highest quality maple bats, period.

When You Think Sargent. Think Quality.

One-hundred and fifty years of a name you can trust... More than one-hundred and fifty years ago my great great great grandfather ran a planing mill in London, Ontario Canada known as Isaac Sargents Planing Mill. His business was one of the largest and most successful of its kind in the area and the family enjoyed considerable success for many years. Isaac passed away in 1913 and his sons ran the business until the mill was burned to the ground in a catastrophic fire in 1922 and never reopened.

In honor of Isaac Sargent I decided to name this new bat company after him and thereby keep the family wood heritage alive.
